DAY 4: Thursday, February 25, 2021
3:00 – 4:30PM

As part of SUNY’s overall effort to provide broad reaching support for faculty using or considering using open educational resources (OER), SUNY OER Services (SOS) and SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD) coordinate to offer Lumen Circles Fellowships at no cost to campuses and faculty.

This fellowship offers faculty a structured opportunity to explore effective instructional practices that support student success and learn how to apply these practices to their own teaching. Fellows connect and share ideas with the other faculty in their circle and critically reflect on the areas they want to grow as teachers.

Join SUNY CPD and SOS for a facilitated conversation and a guided tour of Lumen Circles and the virtual communities of practice that make the fellowship a transformative experience for educators. Attendees will hear and learn directly from SUNY faculty about how the fellowship expands their understanding of evidence-based teaching practices and strengthens teaching and learning.
